Erin Hill, Sci-Fi Harp Girl

My song "Giant Mushrooms" is inspired by two science fiction classics: first, a Ray Bradbury short story called "Boys! Grow Giant Mushrooms in Your Cellar!", written in 1964, and second, the film Invasion of the Body Snatchers from 1956 (which is why I set my music video in the late 1950's).  Erin Hill 

"Giant Mushrooms" has no reference to magic mushrooms and the hallucinogenic, altered perceptions related to magic mushrooms.  Erin Hill has used the innocuous definition of psychedelic as having vivid, striking colors.  It is a false conclusion to assume this video promotes psychedelic drugs.  Emily Mitchell
